Place your order o nline and we will pack your order right away and send you a confirmation email. Your order will be ready to pick up during shop opening hours. Due to space constraints, orders must be collected within 7 days unless by prior arrangement.
Weekly Local Delivery
Weekly delivery to BN11 TO BN16 postcode areas to be made every Thursday for orders placed up until 5pm on the day of delivery. Flat rate charge of £4.95 to cover packaging and delivery costs. All deliveries must be signed for and proof of purchase and ID may be requested before delivery can be completed.
Overnight Weekday Shipping:
We charge a standard shipping fee of £6.95 for orders to the UK mainland. We use DHL overnight services, as we believe they offer the best, most reliable service. Though we cover part of the cost to keep it as low as possible, it may still work out slightly more expensive than some other courier services – however, it offers your purchases the best chance of arriving in one piece!
Orders will be dispatched on the next working day or the same day if possible. Most overnight service orders are received the following working weekday but please allow 2-3 working days in the event of an unexpected delay. DHL will provide you with tracking information and options should you need to rearrange delivery. Any questions regarding your delivery please contact us.
We use thick walled cardboard boxes and paper padding for most orders - we try to avoid plastic where possible but will sometimes reuse bubble wrap and biodegradable chips from goods that have been sent to us.
Very occasionally, an order may arrive damaged due to courier mishandling. We prefer to refund on these rare occasions rather than use more wasteful packaging on every delivery. If your delivery arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the package and broken contents and we will arrange a refund or, if practical, a replacement.
If you're unhappy with your delivery, please contact us within seven working days after it's received. The items must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days from the date of delivery of your order. We will refund the value of your order minus any discounts and delivery charges. Ensuring the safe return of the package and postage cost will be the responsibility of you, the customer.
Title is retained with Bottle & Jug Dept. Ltd until payment in full is received, and until you, the customer, takes final delivery of the goods.
We make every effort to supply goods as shown on our web site, however occasionally we do have to substitute beers for an alternative of equal or greater value, where a valid substitute is available. In the event this needs to happen, we will always attempt to contact you first.
